About Lisa
Lisa Scruggs, Attorney at Law, is dedicated to serving the residents of North Mississippi. She has more than 25 years of experience providing high-quality representation for family law, employment law, criminal law, bad faith insurance, and probate, wills and estates cases.
Lisa is a Tupelo Mississippi native who is deeply ingrained in the community. Because she serves her fellow community members — including local families and business owners — Lisa takes each and every case personally. She spends time getting to know each client before building a strategy for a case or determining the best way to move forward in any situation. Lisa wants every client to feel like he/she has been cared for, not simply dealt with.
Lisa is admitted to serve in all Mississippi State and Federal courts. She regularly represents clients in Monroe, Tishomingo, Lee, Prentiss, Itawamba, Pontotoc and Union counties.

Lisa has more than 25 years of experience. Prior to launching her own law firm, Lisa worked for and learned from Jim Waide — one of Mississippi’s top attorneys — where she assisted on civil rights and employment cases and garnered early federal trial experience.
